Open Source Software Licensing: The good, the bad and the ugly
A number of exciting legal cases have just been made public. The story of the week is of course Oracle’s formal lawsuit against Google
complaining of software patent and copyright infringements. The other story is the GPL violations case brought upon by Busy Box et al and Software Freedom Law Center, against Best Buy, Samsung and other defendants.
